JMC entered the Roller Bearing industry and rapidly built technical capability for heavy-duty bearings. Tailor-made bearings for water pumps, spigot bearings for gearboxes, high-speed spindle bearings for tyre cord twisters, and high-temperature bearings for the ceramic industry.

Manufactured Roller Cage Bearings with castellated milled end rings and straight rollers without end steps — widely used in material handling equipment.

JMC gained widespread reputation in the engineering industry — particularly in steel plants — for manufacturing roller bearings.

Developed Flexible Roller Bearing and Spiral (Flexible) Bush Bearing as an import-substitution product. Implemented immediately for hot rolling mills and continuous casting.

JMC designed and built its own equipment for checking bearings — anchoring the in-built quality circle that defines the company to this day.

Developed the back-up roller bearing for the 20-HI Sendzimir cold rolling mill — a technically demanding low-section-height bearing sorted into 5 section-height groups.

Developed Multi-Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings for Bar and Wire Rod Mills — where radial space restriction is severe and high-speed rolls require low rolling-contact friction.

Successfully developed Cylindrical Roller Bearings cut in two halves (Split Roller Bearings) for mid-shaft mounting without disturbing adjacent components. Also developed Taper Roller Bearings for CCS, Ingot Bogie, BBM and Merchant Mill applications.

JMC Pressure Roller Units for palletising machines in continuous sintering furnaces — proven in high-temperature, dusty environments.

Award distribution ceremony held on 14 August 2013 at M/s. Bonfiglioli India Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. Recognised for 0 PPM defect rate for 5 consecutive years (2008–2012).

Developed Universal Joint Cross Bearings and complete Journal Cross Assemblies for rolling mills. Pinion Shafts and Planetary Gear Pins for gear transmissions — Deemed export, fully outsourced through JMC.

Multi-Row Cylindrical Roller Bearings for Plate Mill work-roll and BBM. Ring/Lock Nuts and Hollow Shafts for Wind Gear Transmissions.
